Ambassadors at E3: looking ahead

Happy E3, Ambassadors!

We’re here in LA for E3 getting amped up for what this year has in store for gaming, and so far, we have not been disappointed. Sunday’s Xbox briefing was a great way to kick-off the event and has us looking forward to more to come as the week continues. Wondering what has really caught our eye? Keep reading to find out.

Xbox One X

The new console has been coined the “World’s Most Powerful Console” and we can’t wait to game on this “Monster.” With amazing specs, enhanced capabilities, and second to none in graphics capabilities, this console is revolutionary. Here’s a quick recap of our favorite innovations:

Scorpio Engine with 6 Teraflops, 326GB/s of Memory Bandwidth and advanced, custom silicon
8 GB Flash Memory, 1TB HDD Internal Storage, 12GB GDDR5 at 326 GB/s
DOLBY Digital 5.1, TrueHD with Atmos

But our favorite announcement, by far, is 4K upgrades that Xbox users will be getting to some the games they already own. Thanks to Xbox One X Enhanced, you will get free 4K updates for 30+ games. This technology is taking gaming to an entirely new level, and we are not mad about it.

Forza Motorsport 7

Porsche unveiled the 2018 911 GT2 RS in an unprecedented display at the Xbox E3 Briefing during the Forza announcements, and it was totally rad. Forza has partnered to have the largest collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches ever. Why are we excited about this one? When played with true 4k and with Mixer integration, this game will be the most life-like racing game on the market. It truly is all about the players.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

The gameplay of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War leaves a lasting impression, then again, we could have expected that. Its predecessor Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has gained recognition and titles such as Game of the Year, Best Action Game and Most Innovative Game, so it’s no surprise that this game has hype. However, we do believe Shadow of War will be able to stand on its own as an entertaining gaming experience.

What’s next for Minecraft? Apparently, community servers and multi-platform integrations as they announced at the E3 briefing. This feature has us excited because we love community, and this gives gamers the opportunity to connect with other gamers and their friends regardless of platform preferences. The more the merrier, right? Also, llamas, llamas, llamas, and of course – llamas! They’re adding llamas, if we didn’t make that clear.
